Science of Ash utilisation workshop at WOCA, May 4, 2015 - programme released

The organisors of WOCA (American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER) have informed about a tentative programm of "The Science of Ash Utilization" Workshop which will be held May 4, 2015 before the World of Coal Ash (WOCA) conference.

The Short Course will cover information about the science and technology of coal combustion by-products. Experts from academia and industry will present on topics including but not limited to: CCB basics, FGD, Ash in Concrete, ASTM Testing, Toxicity Risk, Ponded Ash, Geotech issues regarding Pond Closures, Ash Marketing and Regulations Update.
